The Senior Center Volunteer Programs (SCV) purpose is to provide opportunities for seniors 55+ to remain productive, active and continue to help meet the needs within their community. Our goal is to place senior volunteers in meaningful situations with outcomes that impact the people and neighborhoods where they live.

The Senior Center Volunteers (SCV) provides opportunities for people 55 and over to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. SCV volunteer's contribute anywhere from a few to over forty hours a week, these task hours include helping to combat hunger and loneliness, as well as becoming, APPRISE (State Health Insurance) volunteers, office, data entry and computer aids. We strive to match the personal interests and skills of older Americans with opportunities to help solve community problems.
