    The Crescent Review is a 501-c3 non-profit organization that publishes a literary journal emphasizing new and established writers of short fiction. TCR has been a leading journal since the early 80's when it was founded in North Carolina and featuring southern writers in the tradition of Faulkner and O'Connor as examples. TCR offers two prizes annually for writers published in the journal that year that exhibited extraordinary literary abilities . TCR conducts readings in local venues to help keep the written and spoken literary word vibrant.
