Since 2003, NEI has been working to teach farming households how to grow soybeans and prepare nutritious soy foods. For the past 16 years, NEI has been establishing a self-sustainable soy value chain to make high protein soy products accessible and affordable to all Afghans. NEI's hope is to help revitalize a country that has suffered from over 30 years of conflict by creating opportunities and providing nourishment for its most vulnerable people.
