Medicare Works Project

Medicare Works is a new six-month initiative to develop a long-term strategic plan that promotes Medicare and social insurance more generally as well as defends them against conservative attacks. We will be conducting extensive policy, legislative, organizational, media and public opinion research with the goal of educating the public and uniting progressive organizations, policy experts and thought leaders around a series of principles for strengthening Medicare and social insurance more generally. We will be housed at the Campaign for America’s Future in Washington D.C. The Project Fellow will undertake research on issues related to Medicare and social insurance policy and reform options, research successful approaches to public education and outreach, and assist with administration of the project.
