The Southern Oregon University Foundation is a private, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization affiliated with the University. All fundraising and investment activities of the Foundation are limited to the University.The Foundation assets and earnings are distributed to colleges, departments and programs of the University based upon the donors’ wishes, and if funds are unrestricted, at the direction of the Foundation's volunteer Board of Trustees in response to priority requests from the University President.
