Sobre Nós
The Association of Arizona Food Banks is a private, non-profit organization established in December 1984 to bring a stabilizing element to the enormous task of providing emergency food to the growing number of Arizona's hungry citizens. Established as a coordinating organization, it clearly has charted a course of action that claims a philosophy of partnership between the public and private sectors to improve service delivery and maximize food resources at every level. Over the years, AAFB has become recognized as being an organization on the cutting edge of advocacy and programs that speak out on behalf of those whose voice is seldom heard. This coordination model has been recognized nationally for its outstanding achievement by such entities as America's Second Harvest National Food Bank Network and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
