Representing the 36th District, NYC Councilman Robert E. Cornegy, Jr. represents the people of Bedford-Stuyvesant and northern Crown Heights. Since his election in 2013, Rob emerged as one of the most effective lawmakers in the city. In that time, Rob ushered substantive legislation through to passage across a wide spectrum of issues facing NYC today, like small business development, women’s and family rights, social justice, housing and the needs of seniors.
Now he’s turning his attention to the entirety of Brooklyn with a run for Borough President in 2021. Rob has a bold vision for Brooklyn’s future, a vision that takes a holistic approach to building dynamic urban communities in the 21st century.
