    • Missão

    Our mission is to provide proms gowns to the less fortunate and education for hard=working students. This is all in memory of the loving, giving and caring spirit of Rita Medeiros.

    Sobre Nós

    Rita's Closet was started in 2012, when a young lady Rita Medeiros died with her prom gown in the back of her car. After Rita's untimely death, her mother Tamera Medeiros started this orginization in memory of her daughter for she felt just becuase her daughter missed her Cinderella moment with prom, others should not. We collect formal wear and sell the dresses and the proceeds go towards college scholarships. The high school counselors in Carroll County/ MD recommend girls who may not have prom unless we donate a dress. These girls come to the store and have their princess day.
