Media in the Public Interest

Our mission is to promote a sustainable and healthy future--for all--through journalism. Our strategy is three-fold: support and educate the civil society non-profit sector to interact more effectively with mainstream media; develop new platforms to assist journalists in covering the non-profit public interest community; and facilitate the development of new media projects that strengthen communities and report on social, community and environmental issues that effect people in their daily lives.

Our success will enhance public debate and greatly increase the chances that media will include voices and perspectives in general coverage that would not be otherwise included.
