Karma Builders

Karma Builders L3C is a social enterprise designed to break the cycle of unemployment and re-incarceration. During our 6-month program we hire, pay and train formerly incarcerated mean and women to provide woodworking and assembly services for furniture makers and other local sustainable companies. We have a holistic approach that cultivates a positive long-term shift in mental attitude, building confidence, dignity and the important skill set needed to get and retain gainful employment in today’s green job market. We work in close collaboration with the Osborne Association, an 80 year old established non-profit dedicated to helping formerly incarcerated people secure employment.
