Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts

The Mission of the Adirondack Lakes Center for the arts is to promote visual and performing arts through programs and services in our region, to serve established professional and aspiring artists, and the serve the region through educational programs and activities of general interest. Goals: 1. To give both children and adults the chance to discover and express the creativity inherent in each of us. 2. To open a window on the world for the people we serve. 3. To increase the sense of community in the region through the arts.

Note: We operate in an economically depressed and isolated area where there are more deer than people per sq. mile.
