The Mission of the Epilepsy Foundation is to lead the fight to overcome the challenges of living with epilepsy and to accelerate therapies to stop seizures, find cures, and save lives.

1 in 26 people will develop epilepsy at some point in their life. Epilepsy affects all aspects of a person's life. Learning to cope with and manage epilepsy takes a coordinated effort by family, friends, teachers, and the community.
EFCST was founded in 1993 as a non-profit organization and serves 79 counties including Travis County and the surrounding areas.EFCST is the only organization dedicated to helping improve the lives of over 141,000 individuals with epilepsy in Central & South Texas.
