The mission of JoyRide is to help people with different abilities find more joy in life through equine-assisted activities and therapies. Located on a beautiful 10 acre facility in Magnolia, TX, JoyRide provides therapeutic horseback riding and hippotherapy to people with disabilities age 3 to adult.
Help some very special riders mount up and leave their disabilities on the ground. Volunteers serve as Horse Handlers who are responsible for the horse during the lessons and as Sidewalkers who walk beside the riders to assist with balance and to reinforce the instructors directions.
