-eliminate violence against women and children; -create social change regarding issues of equality and justice; and -develop, apply and increase awareness of feminist approaches (that include an emphasis on action and healing).

The Centre will operate in a manner that is consultative, participatory and non-discriminatory. The Centre's work will respect, and be based in women's own experiences.
