The Mission of READWS ...Home of the Augustine Literacy Tutoring Program The mission of READWS is to reach, teach and advocate for struggling readers by training tutors, teachers and parents to use the evidence-informed, best practices of a multisensory structured literacy approach. We focus on students who are at an economic disadvantage.

We imagine a community where every child can read, where race and zip code no longer predict educational outcomes, and where literacy strengthens every part of our community.
