The Village Zendo is a Zen Buddhist community in the heart of downtown NYC. Serving as a sanctuary in lower Manhattan, we offer meditation and retreats as well as workshops and study groups on Zen teachings. The Village Zendo is committed to authentically continuing the Zen tradition while keeping it contemporary and relevant to today's world. The zendo is known for its friendly and vibrant community. Participation is open to all.
