The mission of AHRC is to teach, support and advocate for children and adults with intellectual and other developmental disabilities to make life choices, exercise independence and develop responsibility. AHRC Nassau encourages all individuals to fulfill their dreams and become productive members of the community. This is accomplished by providing an array of individual and family supports.

Volunteer alongside adults with disabilities who participate in our Adult Recreation Program. Recreation programs are located throughout Nassau County and include: ARTS & CRAFTS
