The Caring for Children Foundation's mission is to provide access to immunizations for uninsured and medically underserved children as well as targeted preventative and health education services. The foundation’s Care Van® Program conducts mobile health outreach completely free of charge to help eliminate financial and geographic barriers to health care access. It’s the only statewide program of this kind. Since its inception 26 years ago, the organization has helped provide over 1.2 million immunizations to over 811,000 children and over 230,000 children with dental exams and sealants.
