Finer Future Foundation

The Finer Future Foundation is a student-run non-profit organization dedicated to collaborating with diverse shelters, with a primary focus on women's and family shelters, to provide essential assistance and support to those in need. We work to raise awareness for a multitude of systemic issues, with the main focus on homelessness in Canada. Homelessness does not only encompass a lack of shelter; rather underpinnings of food insecurity, domestic violence, poor physical or mental health, and lack of employment or income are factors that influence this tragic situation. The Finer Future Foundation works to provide the most vulnerable minorities in our community with the resources needed to survive and thrive.

At the Finer Future Foundation, we strive to embody characteristics of honesty, integrity, compassion, and empathy. Impacting the lives of homeless communities stretches so much further than donations. Our foundation hopes to actually interact with the homeless community in Toronto, and empathetically listen to their stories so that a true connection can be formed. Being cognizant of our privilege is a huge part of our foundation, as it is extremely important to acknowledge how fortunate we really are.
