DC Transgender Employment Task Force

We are a newly formed coalition of over two dozen transgender community members, leaders, organizers, activists, legal advocates, and local government officials committed to increasing access to employment for the transgender communities in the greater D.C. metro area.
Our mission is to increase overall access to employment opportunities for all transgender and gender-nonconforming people in the greater D.C. metro area.
One of the ways we will do this by coordinating a number of programs geared to job preparedness and empowerment of transgender and gender-nonconforming people, and to training and supporting employers who want to hire, retain, and foster the growth of transgender and gender-nonconforming employees.
