Apis Arborea promotes holistic pathways of honeybee conservation, research, apiculture, and innovative watershed-centric programs for the protection and regeneration of local populations of honeybees. AA was established with the mission of safeguarding the vitality and resilience of honeybees through a holistic approach known as 'wilding'. This comprehensive ecological framework integrates innovative conservation models while emphasizing the intrinsic value and agency of all life forms.
We believe in the importance of multidisciplinary and collaborative problem-solving and our goal is to assist organizations and communities to increase their ecological capacity and reach. We serve as an intermediary facilitator for entomological research and compassionate conservation (that argues that compassion for all sentient beings should be what guides conservation actions) with land managers, farmers, educators, researchers, and apiculturists.
Our work centers around three main interventions: 1) restoration and conservation, 2) education, and 3) research.
