FRIENDS OF DAGGERWING NATURE CENTER INC

Friends of Daggerwing Nature Center Inc, (FOD) is a non-profit organization that provides financial, marketing, and program support for Daggerwing Nature Center. The volunteer board of FOD plays a proactive, strategic role in promoting and enhancing the programs and events at the nature center via fundraising, marketing efforts to generate awareness and interest in the nature center's offerings, support of special free events for the community to celebrate Earth Day and Hoot 'N' Howl at Halloween, and an array of other activities. We operate an onsite gift shop, maintain a certified butterfly garden, and recently awarded our first annual educational scholarship to a young, college-bound Daggerwing Nature Center volunteer. We are financially stable, growing, and initiating new projects in support of the nature center every year.
