    WIZO, Women’s International Zionist Organization, founded in 1920, is an international organization of volunteers working in 50 countries to improve the lives of women, children and the elderly in Israel. WIZO’s world-wide members work to support and fund over 800 WIZO projects in Israel, including childcare centers, schools, shelters for battered women and girls in distress, and services for the elderly.

    WIZO USA, established in 1982, is an accredited nonprofit organization whose focus is supporting and funding the WIZO projects in Israel. WIZO USA fosters Jewish identity through young leadership development and a variety of educational and social programs. WIZO USA Chapters include New York, Florida, Los Angeles, New Jersey, Atlanta, Houston, and Washington, DC.
