Ventura Land Trust (formerly Ventura Hillsides Conservancy)

The mission of the Ventura Land Trust is to permanently protect the land, water, wildlife and scenic beauty of the Ventura region for current and future generations.

The Ventura Land Trust(formerly Ventura Hillsides Conservancy) is a land trust operating in the City of Ventura for the purpose of acquiring open space through gift, sale, or other lawful means. The organization was founded in 2003 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit by concerned citizens dedicated to working with public agencies, preservation-oriented organizations, property owners, and the community to encourage preservation and restoration of the hillsides, watershed and open space resources surrounding the City.
