Royall House & Slave Quarters

The Royall House and Slave Quarters is a historic site encompassing one of the finest colonial-era buildings in America and the sole freestanding Slave Quarters remaining in the Northern United States. The museum bears witness to the intertwined stories of wealth and bondage, set against the backdrop of American Independence, and encourages conversation on the complex meanings of freedom in America.
