Health DesignED: The Acute Care Design + Innovation Center is situated within Emory University’s School of Medicine’s Department of Emergency Medicine. Our goal to lead highly collaborative and innovative projects across care teams from the first moment a person starts experiencing symptoms. We are building tools to meet patients where they are and delivering care that is personalized to the needs of socially, economically, and culturally diverse patients and their communities. Our work is about making healthcare easier while being mindful that equitable innovation is at the intersection of high-quality care and affordable cost.
