Missão
Through our flagship event, World Taste and Smell Day, held annually on September 14th, and a variety of other initiatives, our mission is to:
Celebrate how taste and smell enrich our daily lives, and contribute to our happiness, health, and well-being.
Foster empathy and support for individuals living without taste and smell, and advocate for increased awareness of the prevalence of taste and smell disorders and the need for greater understanding and support among the general public and medical community.
Serve as a digital platform and gathering place for content, activities, and initiatives that deepen our understanding and appreciation of these essential senses, and recognize the discoveries and innovations that expand our sensory horizons.
Sobre Nós
The World Taste and Smell Association, founded during the pandemic when millions lost their sense of taste and smell, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering appreciation and understanding of the vital, yet often overlooked, senses of taste and smell.
Through our anchor event, World Taste and Smell Day, an annual event on 9/14, and other initiatives, our goal is to gather and unite a community of people to celebrate the two senses under a unified umbrella.
