Gentiva Hospice is seeking compassionate individuals to provide companionship through activities such as reading, playing music, pet therapy, watching television, working in the office, and playing games. Our most current project is the We Honor Veterans program. Gentiva Hospice provides companionship and support for terminally ill veterans living at home, in nursing homes, and in assisted living communities. Our volunteers work behind the scenes and actively in the community to show veterans that he or she are not forgotten.

Volunteer orientation teaches the skills required to be a hospice volunteer. Orientation and training are free, and volunteers create their schedules and responsibilities. Medical students, veterans, and anyone over the age of 16 are welcome to reach out and start today. Gentiva Hospice appreciates your time and consideration.
