GirlStrength and WomenStrength are violence prevention programs operated through the Family Services Division of the Portland Police Bureau. Our programs strive to build stronger safer communities by fosering awareness, dystifying fear and empowering everyone to be leaders in violence prevention. By offering free classes in all major geographical locations throughout Portland, we aim to remove barriers and end violence.
