America has the highest maternal mortality rate out of all developed countries. Statistics show that midwifery care lowers maternal mortality rates and creates better birth outcomes. All mothers and babies deserve to THRIVE. Thrive Wellness Collective, a 501c3 non-profit, helped 50 families last year and aims to help 365 families this year, one family per day. Join us in our mission to empower families and strengthen communities.

• The majority of maternal deaths are preventable.

• America is the only industrialized country with a rising maternal mortality rate despite spending more on healthcare per capita.

• Midwives in the U.S (approx. 6 per 1000 women) much lower than other countries with better birth outcomes. France, Germany, Switzerland have over 25 midwives per 1000. All countries have almost the same amount of OB/Gyns per 1000 women.

• The U.S cesarean rate is approximately 32% of all births

• Most cesarean sections that take place in the United States are caused by other unneeded interventions.

• We offer low cost birth and well woman services, newborn care up to 6 weeks, miscarriage and pregnancy loss support and education, child birth, new parent, breastfeeding, and new born education, milk donation program, all with a goal of creating community for the families we serve.
