Animal Humane Sanctuary

The mission of the Animal Humane Sanctuary is to provide loving care to homeless and abandoned animals. Neutering and medical attention, along with educating the community are our main priorities. We are committed to finding adoptive homes for the animals within our shelter.

We currently house, feed and care for up to 70 cats. Incoming animals are evaluated for adoption, spayed/neutered and vaccinated. No cats are killed to make room for others, the cats can stay with us as long as they need. AHS also works to trap, spay/neuter and release feral cats into a safer environment. We also hold low-cost rabies clinics. Our geographic areas of focus are communities below the C&D Canal.
