Missão
The charter and mission of the nonprofit is as follows:
Serve as a 501(c)(3) producing world-class marathon & half marathon running events in Boulder, Colorado.
Promoting wellness & good health through the sport of running.
Supporting youth running through the donation of shoes and gears to local
underfunded schools.
Providing training support, resources, and community runs to the area.
Conducting national and international competition in sports and supporting
and developing amateur athletes for international competition in sports.
Promulgating official rules and standards of play, including USA Track and
Field marathon and races standards.
Promoting and advertising the sport.
Organizing inter-team competition.

The Boulderthon(r) was created by an avid New York Road Runners runner to spread the joy of marathons.
We believe Boulder, one of the great running hubs of the country, deserves a signature, premier marathon. We believe:
- Marathons bring people together, and are some of the most fun, memorable & inspiring days of the year in cities, for runners and spectators alike
- Promoting the tremendous power of running to inspire, transform & improve lives
- Sharing the community & beauty of Boulder, CO with the world
- Bringing people together over health & wellness for uniquely memorable experiences
