Greenpeace exists because this fragile Earth deserves a voice. It needs solutions. It needs change. It needs action.

Greenpeace China was established in Hong Kong in 1997 and now has offices in Hong Kong and Beijing.

China’s phenomenal economic growth in the last two decades has brought unprecedented environmental threats to the country and the world.

Greenpeace believes that development should not come at the expense of the environment.

We are committed to seeking and building a green growth pattern, together with the people of China.

Like other Greenpeace offices, Greenpeace China is independent of the influence of governments, groups and individuals and maintains a strict policy of soliciting no government or corporate funding.
