Research Foundation for the Innovation of Eco-Education / Observatorio de Eco-Ed

The Observatorio de Eco-Educación, also known as The Research Foundation for the Innovation of Eco-Education, was formed in response to the need for research on, support of, and connection across a myriad of isolated environmental and ecological education projects and activities in the Central American and Caribbean contexts. The organization fills the gap in holistic ecology-centered education for children and youth that integrates contextual community needs with transformative pedagogies that respond to the urgency of climate breakdown and biodiversity loss, from the perspective of regeneration rather than mere sustainability.

We research, develop, and promote ecological and regenerative pedagogies and practices that focus on innovation and intentionality of learning and teaching, to reflect our world in transition and our interdependence with nature.
