Lick-Wilmerding Philanthropy Initiative

The 2013 Lick-Wilmerding Philanthropy Initiative (LWPI) believes that effective learning depends on excellent teaching. This belief not only comes from our conversations with experts in the field, but also our own personal experiences as current high school students. The LWPI hopes to fund innovative approaches to teacher training that will foster a genuine love of learning for K-12 students and the passion & skills to positively impact the world. Successful applicants will clearly explain how their approach to teacher training is innovative and why it is a good investment.
