YWHC, Inc is a 501c3 non-profit charity organization offering transitional recovery based housing with socio-economic enhancement workshops. The Young Women's Horizon Center promotes and facilitates positive self sufficiency through tailored holistic workshop strategies addressing issues with life skills, drug abuse, vocational rehabilitation, domestic violence prevention, legal assistance, parenting and job readiness. We strive to provide shelter and services for women fleeing domestic violence, rebounding from addiction or attempting to escape chronic poverty. Additionally, we will provide transitional and re-entry housing services to young women including ex-offenders and HIV clientele in efforts to reduce recidivism and increase preventative awareness within the community.
