  • Missão

“Supporting America’s communities with emergency response, diverse aviation and ground services, youth development, and promotion of air, space and cyber power.”

    Sobre Nós

Civil Air Patrol (CAP), the official Auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force, was founded in 1941 to serve America through emergency response, youth development, and aerospace education. For more than 80 years, CAP volunteers have supported search and rescue, disaster relief, homeland security, and community service missions nationwide. The Dallas Composite Squadron (TX-391) carries this tradition forward in North Texas, with adults and cadets (ages 12-18) training together in leadership, aviation, STEM, emergency services, and civic engagement. Our Cadet Program develops leadership, fitness, character, and aerospace knowledge while offering scholarships, encampments, and flight opportunities. Emergency Services members conduct search and rescue, disaster relief, and mission support for local, state, and federal agencies, while Aerospace Education promotes aviation, cyber, and STEM through hands-on programs and school outreach. CAP performs 90% of inland search and rescue missions assigned by the U.S. Air Force, saving about 100 lives each year, and has earned the Congressional Gold Medal for its WWII service. The Dallas Composite Squadron has trained and mentored hundreds of cadets and adults, continuing CAP’s mission to develop tomorrow’s leaders, serve the community in times of crisis, and inspire passion for aviation, service, and civic responsibility.
