Our mission is "To inspire and enable all youth, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens."
We started as the Boys Club of Newport News in 1946 and have since then established 13 Club locations in the Virginia Peninsula and surrounding communities. In addition, we have opened two Thrift Stores in the Newport News and Hampton areas. We serve over 6,000 youth annually between the ages of 6-18 years old. We provide programs in these five core areas:
- Education & Career Development
- Character & Leadership Development
- Health & Life Skills
- Sports, Recreation & Fitness
- The Arts
