The School of Continuing Education, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is a learning organization. Our mission is to generate knowledge and learning opportunities for the people we serve and ourselves. In collaboration with internal and external partners, clients, and students, we develop programs that improve, enrich, and change communities, organizations, businesses, and the lives of individuals. To fulfill our mission WE:

• Conduct applied research and develop curricula, problem solving, workforce development, and capacity building approaches that are based on best practices in the human service fields, professions, communities, and businesses. We also strive to provide the finest in life enrichment programming in the arts, humanities, and sciences.

• Ground our work in the diversity, experience, expertise, creativity, ingenuity, and talent of our diverse, multicultural partners, students, faculty and staff. Together we invest in and support our development by creating opportunities for learning and growth, and believing in our power and capacity for discovery.
