Founded in 1989 by the Wharton Small Business Development Center, The Enterprise Center strives to be the world's premier accelerator of minority entrepreneurship. We believe the entrepreneurial spirit is the keystone of successful communities. To this end, we offer a portfolio of initiatives centered on entrepreneurial development and business formation and growth. We operate the US Department of Commerce's Pennsylvania Minority Business Development Center, The Enterprise Center Capital Corporation, The Enterprise Center Community Development Corporation, an award-winning youth entrepreneurship program, a Magic Johnson / HP Digital Inventor Center and our facility hosts 50 to 60 major business events per year.
