Girl Scouting still builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. As Girl Scouts, girls discover the fun, friendship, and power of girls together. Girls grow courageous and strong through a wide variety of enriching experiences, such as field trips, skill-building sports clinics, community service projects, cultural exchanges, and environmental stewardships.

Girl Scouts helps girl develop thier full individual potential and relate to others with increasing understanding, skill, and respect. The Girl Scout experience is proven to help girls thrive in five key ways:

The inclusive, all-female environment of a Girl Scout troop creates a safe space where girls can try new things, develop a range of skills, take on leadership roles, and just be themselves!

In 2017 and beyond, we are working to make sure our girls are G.I.R.L.s! We need Girl Scouts that grow up to be Go-getters, Innovators, Risk-Takers, and Leaders. Even now, 90% of all female U.S Astronauts are former Girl Scouts, along with over 75% of female U.S. Senators and every female U.S. Secratary of State.
