PAWS Houston is a non-profit organization that helps sustain relationships between pet owners and their pets through a period of the owner’s terminal and/or chronic illness both in the hospital and at home. PAWS Houston has policies with The Methodist Hospital, Texas Children’s Hospital, Memorial Hermann, Memorial Hermann Children’s Hospital, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, M.D. Anderson Pediatrics Hospital, St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital and other hospitals allowing patients to visit with their beloved companion pet in their hospital room. Additionally, PAWS Houston provides in-home client care that includes annual wellness visits, food, exercise, emergency boarding and foster care.
