Missão
BLW Center transforms lives.
Sometimes that means helping a parent attain a family-supporting job, or tutoring a child to earn straight A’s in school. Other times that means connecting a community member with a volunteer opportunity that brightens the lives of others. Regardless of what brings you to BLW, everyone is welcome.
BLW Center’s mission is to support its community in addressing the needs identified by its residents. Our vision is a community that supports individuals in both strengthening their own lives and strengthening the lives of others.
Sobre Nós
BLW Center has been a joyful gathering space in its community since 2004. For many people, it is the center of the community. It’s a place where they can access social services and nutritious food, where their children can learn, and where they can connect with others. Most importantly, it’s a home away from home. When you walk through our doors, you are a part of our BLW family.
Services include a bilingual early childhood program, children and teen after-school and summer camp program, food pantry, senior program, community meals, cultural events, picnics, nutrition and wellness program, Latino Family Resource Center, social services, and more.
