Project HEART- Empowering Tomorrow

Project Heart is the Manatee School District's Title X Homeless Education Program, providing education related support services for students who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Some of these services include:

•High school credit review

•Transportation to remain in school of origin

•GED preparation assistance/GED fee payment for HS students

•Vocational school expenses for HS students

•Post high school education planning/assistance

•Emergency medical or health services (Lice, asthma, glasses, hearing, ADHD or one time emergency prescription)

•School supplies, book bag, school uniform

•School related expenses (Field trips, fees, etc.)

•Emergency food

• Mentoring
