Mt Carmel House
Missão
Mt Carmel House was the first Comfort Care Home to be established in the Rochester area in 1984. Since we are neither a nursing home nor a hospital, it's occupancy is limited by law to 2 residents. Their stay may extend several weeks to 3 months. We select our admits based on greatest needs. All services, care and hospitality are without charge, with no insurance reimbursement nor county, state or federal funding. We are supported financially through donations.

Mt Carmel House is a Comfort Care Home for the Terminally Ill. We provide 24 hour care, free of charge, to 2 individuals at a time. The goal of our home is to have several volunteers to help provide care throughout the day to our residents. We offer physical, emotional and spiritual care to our residents and their families to help them through this difficult time in their lives. We offer a home filled with love, dignity and support as they make their final journey here with us. If you'd like to be a part of our "hospice-like" home please contact us for more information. No experience necessary. We provide training here.
