The Yellowstone AIDS Project is a community based
organization committed to increasing HIV awareness and providing prevention
education and client services throughout Montana. YAP has been working to
engage our community in our mission for nearly 25 years through direct client
services as well as education based prevention programming. We provide support,
advocacy, and empowerment for 30% of Montana’s population of people living with
HIV across 39 counties throughout the state. Serving as the only HIV service
organization in Eastern Montana and guided by our values of compassion,
empathy, and confidentiality, we have earned a solid reputation and are
involved with both local and statewide coalitions that provide HIV services and
programs.
Our vision is simple – Prevent. Educate. Empower. Stop HIV.
