Brookdale Hospital Department of Child Life Services

Brookdale University Hospital & Medical Center is one of Brooklyn's largest voluntary nonprofit teaching hospitals, serving the treatment needs of an ethnically diverse community of East New York. Brookdale's Department of Pediatrics enjoys an excellent reputation and provides a wide range of comprehensive health services, including 25 pediatric specialty clinics.

The Department of Child Life at Brookdale aims to help pediatric patients and their families cope with illness and hospital experiences through a variety of developmentally-supportive techniques.
