The Children's Law Center NY

Founded in 1997, The Children’s Law Center (CLC) is New York City’s first and only non-profit organization dedicated primarily to protecting children's rights in custody, visitation, domestic violence and guardianship matters in Family Courts. We zealously represent thousands of children every year in Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and the Bronx.

CLC’s interdisciplinary approach puts the voices of our clients – children who have experienced upheaval, trauma, and violence – at the center of our legal representation and support inside and outside the courtroom. By pairing expertly trained attorneys with social workers, we provide expert legal counsel and help address our young clients’ educational, health, and financial needs.
