The Harbor Lights Foundation

The Harbor Lights Foundation (HLF) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization serving bereaved children in Westchester and Fairfield Counties. We do this by helping to create an environment where kids – and the adults in their lives – have the tools they need as they navigate the grieving process. 

Specifically, we work closely with schools to provide the education and training needed to support grieving children. We recognize that every school has unique needs, so we strive to make our collaboration with each school as flexible as possible. Options include consultation on bereavement contingency plans, educational workshops, and grief crisis support.
