    • Missão

    We provide solutions to increase awareness, involvement, and enjoyment of underwater hockey for participants and spectators. ABOUT: The unique sport of Underwater Hockey originated in 1954 & is now played in over 40 countries around the world. The U.S. has over 50 clubs who play & compete regularly. This limited-contact sport involves 2 teams competing to move a weighted puck across the bottom of a pool into the opposing team's goal. Wearing snorkeling gear, players submerge briefly to move the puck or support their team. The sport focuses on pre-determined strategy & collaboration since talking underwater is pretty difficult! Not only does Underwater Hockey help keep your heart & lungs healthy, but it improves hand-eye coordination, athleticism, endurance, stamina, & flexibility. This sport is excellent for people that want to become more comfortable in the water while enjoying a fun, challenging, team bonding activity.

    Atlantis Sports is a non-profit dedicated to improving Underwater Hockey. Yes, it is a real sport!

    INVOLVEMENT: We are trying to build more clubs in the United States and we need coaches! Whether you are a retired coach or trying to gain coaching experience for your career, you do not need prior experience playing Underwater Hockey - we will train you all that you need to know. You will gain valuable experience in leadership, coaching, and team development. We will assist with club materials, including programming, gear, and pool scheduling. You will meet at your local pool around once a week and play with the team! It is a fun way to meet new local people while getting exercise. Please reach out to us learn more.

    Simply let us know what city you live in and we will see if there is a qualifying pool in your area! As your team grows and develops, your club will have the unique opportunity to compete in tournaments and events around the United States! It is a one of a kind, exciting, experience.
